"Hey everyone this week was full of miracles and faith and the Holy Ghost. So our hard work is finally paying off here in Primero De Julio. I will relate two experiences to all of you. One begins in the late morning of a slow day. We had been walking for a long time, trying to work with the ward registry, but nothing was really working. I finally just sat down and decided we needed to try something else to get someone to teach. I remembered this thing that I had read in one of the books in our house. It talked about trusting in the spirit to guide you. I knew that God knew where we could go to have success that morning. We just needed to be able to receive his instructions. So we began to earnestly pray for the guidance of the spirit. We humbled ourselves before God, acknowledged our needs and his power and then put ourselves into his hands. Here is Elder Walbom’s email: Hello, how goes it? This past week was my official sixth-month mark in the mission. Happy cùmplemes to me! Anyways yesterday was super good. So it was a normal day and all, just walking around and trying to teach people. For the first part of the day I was with the zone leader on divisions- Elder Bezzant. For the second half I was in my own area and trying to find and to teach people. I decided to reanimate myself and really try to immerse myself in the Lord's work- which by the way is extremely exhausting and disheartening at times. Well, the last hour of the day came and we had scheduled an appointment with our neighbors to teach them. So we rushed over to their house to teach them and we met up with a recently-returned missionary to teach them (they are all women so we need another guy there to teach them in their house). Here is Elder Walbom’s weekly email: Okay caballeros y damas, Get ready for this short email Not much happened this week different or weird but we did have good experiences with prayer. First we were walking and found one lady who we have been trying to be able to teach standing on the side of the road on her telephone and pacing around in an upset manner. We asked what was wrong and she told us that her daughter was missing. Apparently she had gone out earlier to go with a friend but never arrived at the house she was supposed to go to.  I suggested to pray but she just said that she had to keep calling everyone she possibly knew that would know where her daughter was. I suggested again after more minutes of fruitless calls and told her that prayer could only help. She again rebuffed and kept trying to call to no avail.
