Week 11, Pueblo Nuevo Viñas- Choir and Otras Cosas
"Super curious and sciency kid named Dusty! He's awesome and hopefully I'll have a reason to tell you guys more about him and his family next week!"
Elder Alex Walbom's weekly email:
Okay
everyone so this week was something.
Highlights of this week.
1. I began to have my choir. 8 people showed up! That was super
great. It was going well but then I realized that I grossly overestimated the
capabilities of the people here. I was floundering around bc I didn't know how
to help people sing who literally had zero musical background and couldn't even
read music. It was a small disaster but hopefully this weeks rehearsal will be
better.
2. We had an activity where we watched the first Book of Mormon
episode and so many people came to that. Less actives and nonmembers came so
we're doing that every week now. Success.
3. Sunday we had the best attendance in our branch and the most
spiritual sacrament meeting. We had so many less actives come! I know God is
moving his work forward in Pueblo Nuevo Viñas.
4. I know that God gives me my daily bread every day. He
supports me every day and nourishes me. I know that this is the way that God
keeps us focused. When we have to rely on him daily we are more centered in
Christ and happier as we daily work for his grace.
I love all of you!
Adios!
"The chickens are getting bigger."
We're not sure what chickens he's talking about, but they sure are cute!

What's great week!!! Your choir will grow. Persevere! Glad to see that the chickens are growing, too! 😉🐓🐔🐥
