Week 51, Rolling Hills- Second Week in Kansas

Okay so there's not much new to tell about this week but some notable things happened.

1. I got to teach my converts from Guatemala- Francis, Victoria, and Natasha. They are still so wonderful and full of joy and that makes me happier than I can express. Natasha- their daughter- brings them their book of mormon to have them read and she also reminds them to do their prayers every day. They expressed their amazement at how God uses their little girl to help them remember the things they need to do. I am so grateful to God for their faithfulness. They also told me another miracle; their family, which is Catholic, supports them wholeheartedly now! They have decided that they are glad that Francis and Victoria are doing so well and are growing closer to God. They and I are so grateful for that miracle of their family's change of heart.

On another note, today we pulled into the church parking lot and these teenagers who were loitering in the lot scootered up to us and pulled out a LOT of money. We rolled down the window to see what he wanted as he frantically approached and when he saw us inside the car he profusely apologized and said he thought were someone else. He then Scootered back to his buddy. He actually thought we were drug dealers and apparently they deal drugs in the corner of the church lot. Maybe that's because the buildings basically been abandoned for more than 3 months but it was still shocking and then funny. That was definitely the only time anyone has ever mistaken me for a drug dealer.

Adios

Some cool pics of a water hole we found.
