Week 57, Colby - Tortilla "Coffee" and Stuff

Tortilla "Coffee" from Guatemala
Hello!

So this past week was good. We had a good amount of lessons with church members and were able to get some people motivated to help do missionary work! My companion started teaching me how to do some wushu stretching routine and I have to say it really does stretch your legs. We had some good thunderstorms too. Another pretty standard week in Kansas.

On P-day we went to the Nebraska border with Kansas and also to a fossil and history museum south of where we live. Those were pretty interesting too.

So I know it doesn't seem like much is happening in the work right now but I trust the Lord that it will work out. Our mission is starting to see the fruits of our social media efforts as more people see our pages and begin to be taught by missionaries. We just have to trust that the Lord knows best especially when we don't see a rhyme or reason for what we are doing.

I also made tortilla coffee this week! It's a Guatemalan thing (or central American I'm not sure if it's both). It's basically comprised of cinnamon, boiled burnt tortillas and water. My comp was very surprised with how good it tasted and went for seconds.

Adios everyone!
